Art for Basic Income
When the first artists said they wanted to join the CosyAI Coalition, we came up with the idea that we can offer high quality art pieces as part of our Kickstarter campaign.
50% of the price of each art piece chosen by campaign backers will go to the artist, the other 50% will go to the CosyAI project.
AI is likely to have an impact on many artists and content creators. At the same time, many artists could really benefit from a basic income backed by revenues generated through AI.
We want to make this happen as part of the campaign.
Throughout the campaign, we will present artists who join the campaign and some of their work that they offer.
Campaign backers can get one or multiple “Art Units” of 250€ in our Kickstarter Campaign.
Backers who obtained Art Units will be invited to virtual exhibitions, where they can choose among a wide variety of exclusive art pieces.
The artists will determine the price of their work and we will make sure to have a wide variety of pieces ranging from 1 to 10 and more Art Units per piece.
Throughout the campaign, artists can apply to participate. If you are an artist and want to learn more, please send a short email with a link to your portfolio to campaign@cosyai.net.
If you are a backer, you can also suggest specific artists for us to reach out to. Working with experienced curators in Berlin, we will do our best to make sure that you will be able to use your Art Units for a piece that you really appreciate.
